Rehabilitation of CTA Red Purple Line from Lawrence Avenue Station to Bryn Mawr Station – This project includes the development of Scope Validation of Schematic Design documents. This included details of an Advanced Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design and Technical Requirements. Responsibilities include developing the Master Specifications of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and communication disciplines, and ensuring that they conform to existing codes, standards and CTA requirements. The specifications were updated to reflect current equipment and installation practices, as well as focusing on energy conservation and efficiency. Also included was the development of the necessary space requirements such as connecting and supporting elements including duct work, cables, and plenums.

This project includes the responsibility to review the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and communication drawings, submittals and RFIs against the bridging documents, specifications and guidelines for design, and ensuring that they conform to existing codes, standards and CTA requirements. Construction administration responsibilities also include troubleshooting field issues.
